Photography, for me, is a form of alchemy. It’s not just about creating images. I’m drawn to the spaces where images interact, relate to one another, where a narrative takes shape. I often work with both photographs and text—interested in how the two can meet and create a story in unexpected ways.

My journey with photography began in London, where I lived for fifteen years. It was a time of learning, experimenting, and transformation—both creatively and personally. Those years opened the door to profound experiences, and London’s rhythm and inspiring legacy continue to shape my work today.

I’m now based in my hometown of Bern, Switzerland. It’s less of a cultural melting pot, more about moving with the calm, clear flow of the Aare River.

And what else? I love cats. If I could adopt every cat in the world, I probably would. But I can’t—and maybe that’s for the best.

Queen Sava of Hackney, London (I’m by far the oldest in that team and basically I’m ruling the household. And the world. My hissing counts, believe me.)

Princess Poupette of Fontana, Gozo/Malta (I do what ever I want, eg. sit on photos. I also like to sleep on pillows and if I can’t I try to sleep on Natascha’s head.)

Contessa Ad-NaNa di Fontana Gozo/Malta (my militant self doesn’t shy away from Swiss vixens. Needless to say but I say it anyway: to all the other cats on the block: beware.)
