I’m a photographer. The collection of images you see here is a visual journey spanning over 20 years. As I delve into my archive, I come to understand how, in the beginning, there was chaos — not just in my photographs.
For me, photography is an alchemical process. It’s not just about making pictures but about the relationships between them—the way they connect. The process of discovery, of uncovering meaning through these connections, is what truly captivates me.
Living in London for 15 years was a transformative period in my life. It was there that I began my photographic journey. London was not just a place where I learned photography; it was where I discovered life in its multifaceted ways by absorbing the rich cultural tapestry of the city. Those years opened doors to many significant experiences.
Currently, I am based in my hometown of Bern in Switzerland. Less of a cultural melting pot, more of going with the flow of the beautiful river Aare.
What else? I love cats. If I could own all the cats in the world, I would. But I can’t.
